Acxion Foodservice and Marlin Connections needed a bold and memorable brand identity for Cirque Fire + Ice, their premier networking event for foodservice operators and industry professionals. The goal was to create a visual experience that captured the energy of the event while tying into its unique theme and setting.

Solution
The event branding was inspired by the vibrant atmosphere of Carnivale, a colorful venue in Chicago. The wordmark and modular layouts echo the venue’s dramatic, color-blocked ceilings to create an immersive visual experience. The “Fire + Ice” theme represents the contrast of hot and cold in food preparation and served as a creative foundation for the design system, adding energy and balance throughout the event materials. This approach brought the event to life while reinforcing its culinary focus and high-energy tone.
